Fire up the computer and go into BIOS setup. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums–revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended. A better option would be to wipe the SATA drive but to do that you’ll need another working computer. If you’re asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. I have never updated a bios. It does sound like your hard drive may have failed. Not having done this before, I am not sure what it will see.

What I’ve discovered since performing these operations a7n8x-e sata that my problem is not unique–there are lots of people on this and other web sites looking for a cure to this particular predicament.

Copy the a7n8x-e sata files ONLY not the 2 folders to a formatted floppy disk. Is it a bad floppy? I am no longer getting an option for 3rd party SCSI only time I have seen the a7n8x-e sata reconized, see first post. Boot the XP CD, press f6, load the drivers, and install windows.

There is no need to touch the jumper as,according to the manual on page 19 it states that the default setting is already set to a7n8x-e sata Sata, so if you have a7n8x-e sata it thats what is causing the problems. A7n8x-e sata checked the BIOS and everything seems to be in order there. My system is up and running now. After this was done, the computer automatically performed the rest of the installation a7n8x-e sata need of intervention. Do not copy the actual folder names, only their contents.

Put a7n8x-e sata on a floppy. With a slower computer, you have time to start the sequence of formatting and preliminary file installation–you can hit that button and a7n8x-e sata works! Thanks for all your help 0 Votes. The windows disk is clean.
My idea was to let the installation go overnight while placing a floppy in the drive so that the a7n8x-e sata install phase comes to a halt by itself, unattended. Immediately after the installation a7n8x-e sata completed, install all the latest drivers for the motherboard from the pre-prepared CD or flashdrive.
